Some of the terms you folks love to throw around to insult the people are nutcase, conspiracy theorist, mentally ill, witch, the devil etc. So why would anyone speak out about these things? They can lose their jobs, families, friends, freedom, creditability and everything else in the time it takes for me to type this sentence.
That is what it ALWAYS is and if the spirit lingers too long it negatively impacts the brain and body and can cause any number of issues including aneurisms, tumors, cancer etc.
